Original Bike Blessing

The Original Bike Blessing is the oldest, continuously run event of it's type in Wisconsin or northern Illinois. First held in 1986, this event now hosts thousands of riders on the first Sunday of each May. The event runs from noon to 5:00pm with live music, free beer and vendors of all types, including motorcycle manufacturers, jewelers, leatherworkers, civic groups and more. Starting at 2:00pm, ordained ministers begin blessing each bike individually, and continue to bless bikes until everyone who so wishes has had their bike blessed.

The Original Bike Blessing is held on the grounds of Legion Post #434, located at 9327 S Shepard Ave. in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. To get to the Blessing from anywhere take Interstate 94 to the Ryan Road (Hwy 100) exit in Oak Creek. Go east 1.5 miles on Ryan Road to Shepard Avenue, then north on Shepard Avenue about a quarter mile, you literally can't miss it.

Tickets to the Original Bike Blessing are $12.00 per person or $20.00 per couple in advance. Tickets are $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple at the gate. Tickets include a ride pin and entry for door prizes. A portion of the event proceeds go to support Children's Hospital of Milwaukee. Come on out and get a personal blessing of your bike, have some free beer, enjoy some good food, vendors and brotherhood!
